Precious Metals IRA
Secure your retirement with physical gold, silver, platinum, and palladium through a tax-advantaged IRA
What is a Precious Metals IRA?
A Precious Metals IRA, also known as a Gold IRA or Self-Directed IRA, is a specialized individual retirement account that allows you to hold physical precious metals as part of your retirement portfolio. Unlike traditional IRAs that typically hold stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, a Precious Metals IRA gives you the option to invest in tangible assets like gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.
These accounts follow the same tax rules and contribution limits as standard IRAs, but offer the added benefit of portfolio diversification through physical precious metals ownership. The metals are purchased by your IRA custodian and stored in secure, IRS-approved depositories on your behalf.
